Thanks to everyone who contributed to our project. Executive Summary Communication is one of the most important aspects of life. The world over, there has been various ways in which people used to communicate. Over the last 10 or so years, we have seen a very drastic changes in the telecommunication sector. Mobile phone technology is now bringing a vast change in society and transforming the economy through its various benefits and some detriments. Mobile phones in developing countries like Bangladesh are generally seen as an instrument to develop economy and society to provide socio economic benefits and multiplier effects. The seminar paper titled ‘Socio Economic Impacts of Mobile Phone in Bangladesh: an Exploratory Study’ begins with the detail information about the telecommunication service and mobile phone companies in Bangladesh. Then we highlighted some secondary data about the current position of these mobile companies in our economy and market. We showed the various services of mobile phone and its use in the people of Bangladesh.
